And thanks for stopping by! My work reflects my desire to add some whimsy, enchantment and beauty to the world. It is my way of sharing a bit of my heart. I love the laughter and smiles, but I am also drawn to the quiet, intimate moments that are filled with emotion. My goal is to capture the essence of your wedding day, all the little things that come together to paint the big picture.

welcome to my blog...

I’m so excited to share this gorgeous Baker Beach engagement session with you guys! It’s actually the second half of Magali and Andres’ session (remember their colorful Haight Ashbury session from two weeks ago?) On a personal note, sorry for the silence here on the blog! We’re doing some moving, so we painted a room and redid the grout before we had to move in. Plus, we’re moving on weekdays after work, which is leaving very little time for photography and blogging! But I’m realizing that ClickAway 2016 is coming in TWO WEEKS and I still haven’t blogged about ClickAway 2015! Eep! So that’s on the list for either later this week or next week, for sure.

Back to Magali and Andres… Magali really wanted to have the Golden Gate Bridge in the background of the photos, so we chose Baker Beach. She loved the engagement session I shot for Nick and Catherine on Baker Beach so it seemed like the perfect choice. By the way, Nick and Catherine just got married! Their photos are coming to the blog soon too 🙂 Can you tell I’m a little behind, haha! One of my good friends isn’t a huge fan of Baker Beach, but I love it for engagement sessions. It’s usually fairly crowded, but with some creative placement and composition, I never need too much cloning. The Golden Gate Bridge is such an iconic part of San Francisco, that it’s always fun to have it in some photos!

The light was perfection this afternoon, and we got to the beach at the perfect time. There are few things that make me happier than a little sun and a couple in love. I also loved that Magali and Andres were okay with getting a bit wet and running into the waves. One of my favorite things about shooting at Baker Beach is getting the reflections on the sand!
